Our country was founded on the principles of each governmental branch having its own unique role that they are expected to carry out. These roles are there to protect our rights as Americans. This balance, however, is currently being threatened. We cannot sit back and allow our president to make decisions that go against the laws passed by Congress. We must, instead, return our country to its roots and restore the balance of powers in our government. No one is above the law – not even President Obama. We must take a stand to to ensure that our government continues to work for the American people, rather than the other way around.
